Setting Up an Affiliate Program
Your happiest buyers already recommend you for free. An affiliate program pays them for it - and everything runs inside Trankets: tracked links, commission math, and payouts, with nothing for you to reconcile in a spreadsheet.

Where It Lives
Everything is under Marketing → My Affiliate Program in your dashboard (expand the Marketing group in the sidebar):

Step 1: Create the Program
Open My Affiliate Program and click Create Program. Give it a name and description - affiliates see both when they browse programs or receive your invite.
Step 2: Set the Rules
In Settings:

Step 3: Choose What They Can Sell
Open Catalog. Toggle items on in the Enabled column - only enabled products and events appear to affiliates and can generate links.
Per-item commission rates: click the commission value on any row to set a custom rate for that item - it gets a "Custom" badge, and everything else keeps the program default. Use it to pay more on the high-margin course and less on the low-margin ticket.
Step 4: Recruit
- Copy Invite Link from the Overview and send it to the people who already talk about you - past buyers, community members, that one friend who shares everything.
- Your program is also discoverable on the public affiliate browse page, where creators looking for programs can find and join it (subject to your approval mode).
- Applications land under Affiliates when your mode is Manual or Invite only.
Step 5: Approve and Pay
- Sales & Payouts shows every click, conversion, and commission.
- A commission stays pending until the sale's refund window passes, then becomes confirmed.
- Approve confirmed commissions - Trankets credits the affiliate's wallet, and they withdraw through their own wallet like any other earnings. You never send money outside the platform.
Refunded sales void their commissions automatically - nobody gets paid on a returned sale.
Affiliate Promo Codes
Under Affiliate Codes, create a promo code linked to a specific affiliate. Any sale using that code is attributed to them even without a link click - perfect for podcasts, printed flyers, and word of mouth where nobody clicks anything.
Common Issues
- An affiliate cannot promote an item. It is not enabled in the Catalog.
- Applicants cannot join. Your approval mode is Invite only.
- A commission is not showing for approval. Its refund window has not closed yet.
- Changed the commission rate. New rates apply to future clicks, not retroactively.
