How to schedule, reschedule, and cancel email campaigns on Trankets.

Scheduling Email Campaigns

This guide covers how to schedule an email campaign for a future time and how to cancel it. Trankets supports single scheduled campaigns only; automated sequences and timezone-aware delivery are not available.

Schedule a campaign

  1. Create or open a campaign at Dashboard → Newsletters.
  2. Make sure the subject, design, HTML content, and contact groups are filled in.
  3. Click Schedule instead of Send now.
  4. Select a date and time.
  5. The selected time must be at least 1 minute in the future.
  6. Click Save schedule.

What happens next

  • The campaign status changes to Scheduled.
  • Trankets checks for scheduled campaigns.
  • When the scheduled time is reached, sending starts.
  • The status changes to Sending, then Sent when complete.

If delivery fails, the status changes to Failed.

Cancel a scheduled campaign

  1. Open the scheduled campaign at Dashboard → Newsletters → [Your campaign].
  2. Click Cancel schedule.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.

The campaign status returns to Draft. You can edit it and schedule it again, or send it immediately.

Quota check at send time

When the scheduled time arrives, Trankets checks your monthly email quota before sending. If you do not have enough quota remaining, the campaign will fail.

Quota is reserved before sending. Unsubscribed contacts are refunded after delivery completes.

Common issues

  • Cannot schedule in the past. The scheduled time must be at least 1 minute from now.
  • Schedule button missing. The campaign may already be sending or sent. Only draft campaigns can be scheduled.
  • Campaign did not send. Check the campaign status. If it is still Scheduled, it may not have started yet. If it is Failed, check your quota and email provider connection.
  • Wrong send time. Remember that scheduling uses server time, not your local timezone.
  • Cannot cancel. You can only cancel campaigns that are in Scheduled status.
