Scheduling Email Campaigns
How to schedule, edit, reschedule, and cancel email campaigns on Trankets - and what happens at send time.
Scheduling Email Campaigns
Write the email when the idea is hot; land it when your audience is awake. Scheduling separates the two.
Schedule a Campaign
- Create or open a campaign under Newsletters and finish the subject, design, and audience.
- Click Review & Send, switch the toggle to Schedule, and pick a date and time (at least 1 minute in the future).
- Confirm with Schedule Campaign.
The status becomes Scheduled, and Trankets sends it at the chosen time.
Edit or Cancel While Scheduled
A scheduled campaign is not frozen: open it, make your edits, and save - the schedule stays. To stop it entirely, click Cancel Schedule; the campaign returns to Draft and you can rework it, reschedule, or send now.
A Failed campaign can be fixed and sent again - fix the cause (usually quota or provider), then send.
What Happens at Send Time
- Your monthly email quota is checked before anything sends - if there is not enough, the campaign fails rather than partially sending.
- Quota is reserved up front and refunded for unsubscribed contacts after delivery.
- Status moves Scheduled → Sending → Sent.
What Scheduling Is (and Is Not)
| Feature | Supported? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Schedule for the future | Yes | Minimum 1 minute out. |
| Edit while scheduled | Yes | Changes save without disturbing the schedule. |
| Timezone-aware delivery | No | The time you pick is the time it sends. |
| Automated sequences / drips | No | Single campaigns only - duplicate a past campaign to move fast. |
| Recurring sends | No | Each send is deliberate. |
Plan Limits
Your monthly email allowance and newsletter count rise with each plan tier (sending itself unlocks on paid plans). Current numbers live on the pricing page; your usage is under Billing → Usage This Period.
Common Issues
- Cannot schedule in the past. At least 1 minute from now.
- Campaign failed at send time. Check your remaining quota and provider connection, then send again.
- Wrong send time. The scheduled time is literal - not adjusted per recipient timezone.
- Cannot cancel. Only Scheduled campaigns have a schedule to cancel; a Sending campaign is already in flight.
