Creating Your First Email Campaign

This guide explains how to create an email campaign, select an audience, and send it. Trankets supports single broadcast campaigns only; automated sequences are not available.

Before you start

You must connect an email provider before you can send campaigns. Go to Settings > Email Provider and connect one of:

  • Google (Gmail / Google Workspace)
  • SMTP (any provider)
  • Trankets Email

Without a connected provider, the Send now option is not available.

Create a campaign

  1. Go to Dashboard → Newsletters.
  2. Click Create campaign.
  3. Enter the required fields.
  4. Select at least one contact group.
  5. Design the email content.
  6. Save as draft or send.

Campaign statuses

StatusMeaning
DraftCampaign is saved but not scheduled or sent.
ScheduledCampaign is queued to send at a future time.
SendingCampaign is currently being delivered.
SentCampaign has finished sending.
FailedSending could not be completed.

Send a campaign now

  1. Finish editing the campaign.
  2. Click Send now.
  3. Confirm the send.

What happens next

  1. Trankets checks your monthly email quota.
  2. If you have enough quota, the amount is reserved.
  3. The campaign status changes to Sending.
  4. Trankets begins delivering emails.
  5. After delivery completes, unsubscribed contacts are refunded to your quota.

You can only have one campaign sending at a time per seller account. If another campaign is already sending, you must wait for it to finish.

Schedule a campaign

To schedule for later:

  1. In the campaign editor, choose Schedule instead of Send now.
  2. Pick a date and time.
  3. The scheduled time must be at least 1 minute in the future.
  4. Save the schedule.

The campaign status changes to Scheduled. Trankets sends it at the scheduled time.

To cancel a scheduled campaign, open it and click Cancel schedule. The status returns to Draft.

Quota limits

Each plan has a monthly email quota and a maximum number of newsletters.

PlanEmails per monthNewsletters per month
Free5005
Starter2,50025
Pro15,000100
EnterpriseUnlimitedUnlimited

Quota is reserved before sending. If a contact is unsubscribed during or after delivery, the quota used for that contact is refunded.

Important limitations

  • Trankets does not support personalization variables such as {{first_name}}.
  • There is no batch sending option (for example, 1,000 emails per hour).
  • Scheduling uses server time, not the recipient's local timezone.
  • Automated sequences (welcome, launch, drip) are not supported.

Track performance

After a campaign is sent, the detail page shows delivery statistics such as opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and bounces.

Common issues

  • Send now is disabled. Connect an email provider first.
  • Not enough quota. Upgrade your plan or wait until the next billing month.
  • Another campaign is sending. Only one campaign can send at a time per seller.
  • Scheduled campaign did not send. Check that the scheduled time is in the future and the status is Scheduled.
  • Emails bounced. Verify your sender reputation and that your contact list is up to date.
