Take Bookings Without the Back-and-Forth

No more trading messages to find a time. Set your weekly availability once, and clients book a paid slot that already fits your calendar.

What You Will Learn

  • Set the hours you're open for bookings
  • Add a booking option with duration, buffer, and location
  • Collect what you need before the session starts
  • Set fair reschedule and cancellation rules

Step 1: Set your availability

Open Services → Availability and add the weekly windows you're happy to take bookings in — say, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2pm to 6pm. This one schedule feeds every booking option you sell.

A booking service with no open hours shows buyers "no times available" and quietly loses the sale. If you add a booking option, set your availability before you share the link.

Step 2: Add a booking option

On the service, add a Booking option and set:

  • Duration — how long the session runs.
  • Buffer after — a breather blocked after each session before the next can start.
  • How you meet — video call, phone, or in person, plus the details (a meeting link or address).

The meeting details stay private until the buyer pays — then they appear on the buyer's order, their confirmation email, and their calendar invite.

Step 3: Ask for what you need up front

Add intake questions to any option — a brief, a link, a goal. Buyers answer them at checkout, and the answers land right on the order and on their contact record, so you walk into the session prepared.

Step 4: Set your policies

Under advanced policy, decide:

  • Cancellation window — how many hours before the session a client can still change or cancel for free.
  • Refund within window — how much they get back when they cancel in time.
  • Reschedules allowed — how many times a booking can move.

The page spells out each rule to the buyer in plain language, so there are no surprises on either side.

Every client automatically gets a reminder an hour before the session. Add extra reminders (like a day before) so no one forgets.
