Get Paid by the Clients You Already Have

Most client work does not fall apart on the work. It falls apart around it.

Someone slides into your DMs asking what you charge. You quote. They go quiet, then come back a week later ready to pay. Now you are the one doing admin: agreeing a price again, sending account details, wondering whether to start before the money lands, and chasing politely enough not to sound desperate.

Services is that whole middle bit, handled. You put a price on what you do, send one link into the conversation you are already having, and the money is protected until you deliver - then it goes to your own bank account.

There is no marketplace ranking you against strangers. It is your page, your client, and what you charge is what you keep, minus one small commission.

What You Will Learn

  • Decide whether you are selling time or a finished thing
  • Get a page live in a few minutes and share one link
  • Know exactly when the money becomes yours
  • Keep every client as someone you can reach again

Where Services lives in your dashboard

Sign in and look at the left sidebar. Open Services and you'll find three places you'll use again and again:

  • My Services - create and edit what you sell, and toggle what's live.
  • Orders - every booking and package order, what to deliver, and what you've been paid.
  • Availability - the weekly hours clients can book you for.

Your public page lives at trankets.com/u/your-handle - that's the link you share. Everything you build under Services shows up there for buyers, and you shape how that page looks (cover, photo, section order, share image) under My Page.

Two ways to sell

Every service is built from options, and each option is one of two kinds:

  • Booking - you sell a slot of your time (a 30-minute call, a 60-minute session). Buyers pick a time from your availability and get an instant confirmation with a calendar invite.
  • Package - you sell a fixed piece of work for a fixed price (a brand audit, a logo, a review). Buyers pay up front and you deliver on your own turnaround.

You can mix both on one service. A "Brand Strategy" service might offer a paid intro call and a full audit package side by side.

Step 1: Create your service

From your dashboard, open Services and choose New service. Give it a clear title and a short description of what the buyer gets and who it is for. Add one or more options - a package, a booking, or both.

Lead your description with the outcome, not the format. "Leave with a 90-day growth plan" sells better than "60-minute Zoom call."

Step 2: Price it - in any currency

Set your price in naira, and international buyers automatically see an approximate price in their own currency at checkout. Want round numbers abroad? Set an exact price per currency under International prices.

Step 3: Payment protection, built in

For packages, the buyer's payment is held safely until they confirm the work was delivered - then it's released to you. Bookings are confirmed instantly. Either way, buyers see that they're protected, which makes them far more likely to say yes to someone new.

Every buyer grows your audience

This is where services compound. Point a service at a contact group, and everyone who buys is added automatically - with the answers they gave at checkout. Those same people are who you email about your next event, product drop, or newsletter. A one-off client becomes a repeat audience.

Services connect to the rest of your growth: a call buyer today can be a course buyer, a newsletter subscriber, and an affiliate tomorrow - all from one dashboard.

Your path from first service to expert

Read these in order and you'll go from a blank page to running Services like a pro:

  1. You're here - set up your first service and understand payment protection.
  2. Take Bookings Without the Back-and-Forth - set your hours, add booking options, and collect what you need up front.
  3. How You Get Paid: Escrow, Holds & Release - exactly when money is held, released, and how disputes work.
  4. Buy a Service With Confidence - see it from your buyer's side, so you can guide them.
