How Trankets Features Work Together
This guide describes how Trankets features can work together and what automation actually connects them. It focuses on concrete actions you can take.
Where to Find These Features
- Waitlists: Dashboard → Waitlists
- Events: Dashboard → Events
- Products: Dashboard → Products
- Newsletters: Dashboard → Newsletters
- Affiliates: Dashboard → My Affiliate Program
- Contacts: Dashboard → Contacts
What Each Feature Does
| Feature | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Events | Sell tickets and manage attendees. |
| Products | Sell digital downloads, courses, and templates. |
| Newsletters | Send email campaigns to contact groups. |
| Waitlists | Collect signups before a launch. |
| Affiliates | Let others promote your items for commission. |
What Is Automatically Connected
Trankets automatically adds contacts in these cases:
- Someone signs up for a waitlist.
- Someone buys a product that has a contact group assigned.
Event attendees are not automatically added to contacts. There is also no automatic conversion of attendees into buyers, or buyers into affiliates.
How to Build a Connected Workflow
- Create a waitlist from Dashboard → Waitlists to collect emails before a product or event launch.
- Go to Dashboard → Contacts and confirm the waitlist signups appear as contacts.
- Create an event from Dashboard → Events and email the waitlist contacts with the registration link.
- After the event, manually message attendees about your product or next event.
- Create a product from Dashboard → Products and enable it for affiliates in Dashboard → My Affiliate Program → Catalog.
- Send a newsletter from Dashboard → Newsletters to past buyers and waitlist contacts announcing the product.
- When editing the product, assign a contact group so future buyers are added to Dashboard → Contacts automatically.
- Invite satisfied buyers to apply as affiliates through your invite link from Dashboard → My Affiliate Program.
What Happens Next
- Waitlist signups and product buyers with a contact group are available for newsletters.
- You must manually send event invites, product announcements, and affiliate invitations.
- Affiliates who join can promote enabled products and events through their referral links.
Limits and Requirements
- Cross-feature automation is limited to contact additions from waitlists and from product purchases with a contact group.
- Event attendees must be added to contacts manually if you want to email them later.
- Buyers do not automatically become affiliates; they must apply or accept an invite.
Common Issues
- Attendees not in contacts: Event attendance does not auto-add contacts. Export attendee emails or collect them through a waitlist or product purchase.
- Buyers not in contacts: The product must have a contact group assigned for the buyer to be added automatically.
- No affiliate applications: Make sure the product or event is enabled in Dashboard → My Affiliate Program → Catalog and your program is set to auto or manual approval.
