Pricing in Multiple Currencies

Your audience does not all pay in the same money. Price a product in the currencies your buyers actually hold, and each visitor meets a price that looks native - not a strange converted number with too many decimals.

What You Will Learn

  • Price in up to eight currencies without doing the math yourself
  • Understand exactly which price each buyer sees
  • Show discounts with compare-at pricing
  • Make a product free (and why you might)

Supported Currencies

NGN, USD, GHS, KES, ZAR, ZMW, GBP, and EUR.

Setting Prices

Open your product from Products and edit it (the pencil icon), then find the Pricing section.

  1. Enter your main price. The first currency you price becomes the base price - it is highlighted and used as the reference.
  2. Click Auto-fill other currencies to fill every empty field from live exchange rates. Only empty fields are touched, so your hand-set prices stay put.
  3. Round the auto-filled numbers to whatever looks right - $19 sells better than $18.73.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Which Price a Buyer Sees

A buyer is only ever shown a currency you actually priced - Trankets never invents a converted price in a currency you did not set. The first price they meet is decided in this order:

  1. A currency default you set on this specific item
  2. Your account-wide Currency buyers see first setting (in My Page → Selling Rules), which defaults to "Automatic - match the visitor's country"
  3. The visitor's own country, when you priced that currency
  4. Otherwise, your base price

Buyers can always switch currency themselves with the selector on the product page.

Price the two or three currencies your audience actually pays in. NGN plus USD covers most sellers; add GBP or EUR when the orders start coming from there.

Compare-At Pricing

Show a visible discount: the compare-at price renders as a strikethrough next to the real price ($40 $25).

Use the Discount Percentage slider to apply one discount across all currencies at once, or tick Set manually per currency for exact figures.

Free Products

Flip the Make Free toggle and every price zeroes out. Free products skip payment - the buyer clicks Get it Free and lands straight on the download page.

Pair a free product with Auto-add Buyers to Contact Group and it becomes a lead magnet: everyone who grabs it joins your contacts, ready for the launch of the paid one. See Your audience, in one place.

Currency and Settlement

Every purchase stores the exchange rate at the moment of sale, and you receive settlement in NGN. Your wallet's transaction history keeps the full record.
