Refund Policy

1. Platform Role

Trankets is a software platform and payment facilitator operated by Yconsoft Technologies. We provide the tools that enable event organizers and digital product sellers (collectively, “Creators”) to collect payments from buyers and attendees (collectively, “Buyers”).

Trankets is not the merchant of record. All sales are direct agreements between the Buyer and the Creator. Trankets does not own, supply, or fulfil any event ticket, digital product, or service sold through the platform.

2. Refunds & Disputes

2.1 First Step - Contact the Creator Directly

All refund and dispute requests must first be directed to the Creator (organizer or seller) who sold you the ticket or product. The Creator’s contact address is shown in your purchase receipt email. Simply reply to your receipt email to start the process.

2.2 Creator Obligations

By using Trankets, all Creators (organizers and sellers) fully agree to:

  • Respond to buyer emails and dispute cases in a timely manner.
  • Process legitimate refund requests in good faith and where applicable, within 7 business days.
  • Honour the terms of the sale as advertised at the time of purchase.
  • Not misrepresent products, events, or their availability.

2.3 When Trankets May Intervene

Trankets will only step in to assist in the following circumstances:

  • Fraud or scam: The Creator misrepresented the product or event, or the event did not occur.
  • Unresponsive Creator: The Creator has not responded to the Buyer after multiple good-faith attempts over a reasonable period.
  • Payment gateway fault: A technical error on Trankets’ payment infrastructure caused an incorrect charge.
  • Terms of Service violation: The Creator is in clear violation of Trankets’ Terms of Service.

In these cases, Buyers should submit an escalation via our Support Centre.

2.4 Penalties for Non-Compliant Creators

Trankets reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions against Creators who are unresponsive to legitimate buyer disputes, misrepresent products or events, or otherwise violate these terms:

  • Issue partial or full refunds from funds held in the Creator’s Trankets wallet.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the Creator’s account.
  • Apply financial penalties as permitted under the Terms of Service.
  • Report violations to relevant authorities where required by law.

2.5 Escalation Path

  1. Reply to your receipt email to contact the organizer or seller directly.
  2. If unresponsive after reasonable attempts (minimum 3–5 business days), escalate via the Support Centre.
  3. Our team will review within 2–3 business days and contact you by email or phone.

3. Digital Products

Due to the instant-delivery and downloadable nature of digital products, refunds are generally only available if the product was materially misrepresented or the download link is non-functional after the seller has had a reasonable opportunity to resolve the technical issue.

4. Event Tickets

Refund eligibility for event tickets is determined by the organizer’s refund policy, which is set at the time of ticket creation. Trankets does not override organizer-set refund terms unless there is fraud, misrepresentation, or a ToS violation.

5. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting the Creator or Trankets may result in your account being suspended. We strongly encourage using the escalation path above first, as chargebacks have a negative impact on all parties involved.
