Reach the right contacts with a clear SMS update.
For a seminar without tickets or a time-sensitive update, choose the relevant groups, write the message and review permission, recipients and cost before sending. SMS campaigns are being prepared for a controlled pilot.
Plan an SMS campaign before it sends
- Contact-group selection and recipient review
- Personalisation with preview samples
- Segment and credit estimate for the final message
- One-recipient paid test, scheduling and delivery status
How it works.
- 1
Choose eligible groups
Select contacts with permission for campaign SMS. A contact record or event registration alone is not permission.
- 2
Write and preview
Add your business identity, review personalised samples and check whether the final text uses more than one billable segment.
- 3
Review before sending
Check eligible recipients, the approved credit limit and the sending window. A paid test sends to one eligible contact.
Fits the rest of your work.
Keep related tasks nearby, with the right setup and recipient choices for each tool.
Keep groups useful
Use Contacts to organise the people the update concerns. Refusals and opt-outs still exclude recipients.
Fund the send
Messaging shows the credit balance and a funding route. Sending does not begin just because you add credits.
Check the outcome
See submission and delivery status where available. Provider acceptance is not proof of handset delivery or reading.
Start with a relevant message.
SMS campaigns support Nigerian phone numbers during permitted sending hours and only for eligible recipients.
Questions about sms campaigns?
Can I message everyone in a contact group?
No. Eligibility is checked per destination and purpose. Missing permission, opt-outs and other restrictions reduce the sendable audience.
How is SMS cost calculated?
The final message, including personalisation and required identification or opt-out text, determines its billable segments. Review the credit estimate and maximum spend before sending. A one-recipient test is paid.
Where can I send SMS campaigns?
The controlled pilot supports Nigerian phone numbers. Sending hours and daily pauses follow Africa/Lagos time; your account timezone is shown for comparison.
Does submitted mean delivered?
No. A provider may accept a message without confirming handset delivery. Delivery reports can arrive later or remain unavailable.
