Reminders and Event Emails

Half of no-shows are not people who changed their minds - they are people who forgot. Reminders fix that, and the email tools around your event tell you exactly who heard from you and who did not.

What You Will Learn

  • Schedule reminders that track your event date automatically
  • Target reminders at everyone or a specific category
  • Customize your confirmation and invitation email designs
  • Audit what was sent, retry failures, and find unreached attendees

Reminders

Open your event, go to the Manage tab, and click Reminders.

A reminder can be:

  • One-time at a date you pick, or relative to your event - "1 day before start", "2 hours before". Relative reminders follow the event: if you reschedule, they move with it. No stale "see you tomorrow" emails on the wrong day.
  • Repeating, for a countdown drumbeat.
  • Targeted - everyone, or a specific attendee category (just your speakers, just VIPs).

Before it sends, the form shows you the live reach - how many attendees it will hit and how it sits against your monthly email quota. You can preview it and send yourself a test copy first. After each send, a per-send log shows what went out.

For virtual events, set your link before the first reminder fires - reminders carry the join button straight to every attendee's inbox. See Host a virtual event.

Email Templates

Manage → Email Template lets you design your confirmation and invitation emails - available on every plan. Your attendee's QR code ticket rides along automatically.

Email Analytics

Manage → Email Analytics is the audit trail: every sent, failed, and pending email around the event, filterable by type, status, and date. Two tools matter on a bad day:

  • Retry All Failed - one click to re-attempt everything that bounced off a temporary failure.
  • Unreached attendees - the list of people none of your emails reached, so you can fix an address or contact them another way before doors.

The Quota Angle

Reminders draw from the same monthly email allowance as your newsletters, and the allowance grows with your plan. The reminder form shows your remaining quota before you commit - if a big event keeps brushing the ceiling, that is your signal the next plan tier pays for itself.
